Our continuing education courses are for anyone interested in universal design, from architects to occupational and physical therapists, planners, contractors, advocates, and policy makers. Anyone can learn how to recognize, understand, appreciate, apply, and advocate for universal design in their home, office, and community. Browse available courses below to learn more.
Getting Started is Easy
Available on a rotating calendar with no required log-in times. Courses include videos (with transcripts), readings, discussion topics, projects, and tests. Courses require the purchase of a book (sold separately).
Students will get 4-weeks to access and complete a course. There are no live sessions. Most courses offer American Institute of Architects credit. See course catalog for start dates, LU/CEU hours, and associated book (if any). Passing students will receive a printable certificate of completion at the conclusion of the course.
