Although the village is on the list of demolishment and redevelopment, most older residents refuse to move to a better environment for changing their living condition because they enjoy the neighbor relationship in the Village. Based on the research, the new social spaces design follows their habits and customs, and provide safer and healthier platforms for their socialization. The design redevelops the social space using “Less Changes, More Comfort” method to organize a social space system for the elderly along the narrow Main Street.
